The same investment company responsible for Ponce City Market, is building a $300 million mixed-use development.
The development, Riverview Landing, will be dependent on the reconstruction of Riverview Road near I-285. It started in December is is expected to be finished within a year of it’s build-start.
Sitting on the Chattahoochee River, Riverview Landing will include a mix of homes, shops, restaurants and green spaces, Jamestown said. The location is a former industrial site in southwest Smyrna. The Georgia Tech rowing team practices here, and the REI Outdoor School outpost is here as well.
It will be the only mixed-use development in Atlanta with direct access to the Chattahoochee.
The project was approved by the Smyrna City Council in 2013, the same year the council annexed the 82 acres of land bordering the river.
